RE: Minnesota's best and most desirable QB2 option.... - purplefaithful - 03-12-2025 RE: Minnesota's best and most desirable QB2 option.... - MAD GAINZ - 03-12-2025 The thing I can't understand with the Rodgers speculation to MN... A good young HC in Green Bay had enough of him and moved on to a different QB. Then he goes to a new team, they bend over backwards and bring in his favorite QB coach to be the OC, bring in his favorite WRs (Davante and Lazard) to go with Garrett Wilson... Jets have Breece Hall at RB and a strong defense... And he plays bad enough to get his HC fired and limp to a 7-10 finish. We all saw him last season on a team with good WRs, good running game, and a strong defense. MN has all that, but why would we expect the results to be different? I mean KOC is a great HC and could win with the guy, but why bring all that drama and shit when he tanked on a team that was set up similar personnel-wise? I think all these rumors of Rodgers to MN are coming from him and his agent. I don't see the Vikings being interested. He looked like a Kohl's assistant store manager heading to the registers to do a price adjustment. Not sure he's a great locker room guy. Flacco or White might be interesting. Still like Uncle Rico. Winston would be a hoot. RE: Minnesota's best and most desirable QB2 option.... - StickierBuns - 03-13-2025 https://twitter.com/VikesCentral/status/1899946588291670230 What smart think tanks do whether its a corporation or an NFL team is go through a process of looking at all options. Even those that have a severely limited chance of coming to fruition. You work it through your process and then move past it or move toward it. That's all this is is an exercise. But Tampa Bay did something similar with Tom Brady and got a Superbowl, so hence why you think it through. But having said that: you going to tell me with a straight face that Rodgers wouldn't light it up in Minnesota with this team? Think it may come down to who can be the best mentor / friend to JJ and hope he doesn't get hurt. As with most teams, your odds aren't good if you're playing your backup QB. Aaron Rodgers Russell Wilson Jameis Winston Joe Flacco Gardner Minshew Drew Lock Carson Wentz Mason Rudolph Cooper Rush Desmond Ridder Trey Lance Case Keenum Easton Stick Taylor Heinicke Brandon Allen Josh Johnson C.J. Beathard Kyle Allen Teddy Bridgewater Jeff Driskel Tyler Huntley Tim Boyle Mike White Bailey Zappe Sam Ehlinger RE: Minnesota's best and most desirable QB2 option.... - JustInTime - 03-13-2025 |
