Packers vs. Lions - Watcher - 09-07-2025 Hmm. I may have to revise my NFC North prediction to Vikes, Packers, Lions, Bears. Maybe they come back but no indication given poor first half. RE: Packers vs. Lions - purplefaithful - 09-07-2025 Am rooting for Kitties all the way... But all that matters is we take care of our own biz Monday night. And wow, Rogers throws for 4 td's today...Maybe the olde man has a little left in the tank after all? RE: Packers vs. Lions - Watcher - 09-07-2025 Oh, I'm still rooting for the Kitties, too. And I agree about taking care of our own business...I still think we'll take the division this year. Finally, yeah, Rodgers still has some magic, but I loathe him nevertheless. RE: Packers vs. Lions - Mattyman - 09-07-2025 Detroit lost coordinators, assistants and players and it showed.. RE: Packers vs. Lions - kmillard - 09-07-2025 They will both be playoff teams most likely. That young packers defense is impressive RE: Packers vs. Lions - mblack - 09-07-2025 Detroit was not good. I get the fact that it’s week one but damn! They were never in the game. With all the “we’ll be fine nothing to see here” bravado, Dan better get the “issues” corrected real quick. On the flip side Green Bay came to play albeit it was a home game plus the Parsons unveiling. RE: Packers vs. Lions - JimmyinSD - 09-08-2025 Ita week 1 in the new NFL, for most teams this is still training camp, I am not going to take much away from the first few weeks of the season anymore as good teams will look bad and bad teams will get lucky. If after week 3 we are still seeing the same things...maybe then I will crown their ass. Nobody should be judging anything season long off these games, but they still happened so we have things to discuss. And it was a domination by GB, so might be more there to look at. Oh wait....the media is ready to make judgments: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/with-micah-parsons-already-wreaking-havoc-the-packers-certainly-looked-like-a-super-bowl-contender-vs-lions/ RE: Packers vs. Lions - MaroonBells - 09-08-2025 (09-08-2025, 05:45 AM)JimmyinSD Wrote: Ita week 1 in the new NFL, for most teams this is still training camp, I am not going to take much away from the first few weeks of the season anymore as good teams will look bad and bad teams will get lucky. A few years ago, the Vikings opened in Cincinnati and must've been flagged a hundred times. I think we're better coached now than we were then. Still, a rash of penalties can make even the best teams look like trash. |
