Definitely worth the read. Seems like one of those that won't stop working, Theilen, CJ Ham, Metellus type of vibes. Rooting for him to take that 3rd spot.

That Treyveon Henderson guy sure looked good in his debut. Still not convinced he wasn't the best player on the board when we were on the clock

He went 12 spots after us, so we could've traded down twice, picked up more draft capital and still got him. He's looked spectacular this summer. Not complaining one bit about the Donovan Jackson selection though. Taking TE4 with our final pick instead of a back like Jacory Croskey-Merritt or Brashard Smith is one I will complain about. That's going to come back to haunt us.
Henderson's first NFL touch was a 100-yard TD. Here's another. Just unbelievable burst.

He was a stud in college and will be in NFL too... So freaking obvious (aargh)

My biggest complaint heading into the draft was that we had a historically deep and talented running back class and that the acquisition of Jordan Mason would move us off taking someone like Treyveon Henderson...and it did. Mason is a good player, but Henderson had the ability to be elite and I know myself and several others here viewed him that same way. He could have been our Jahmyr Gibbs. I was okay with the Donovan Jackson pick, but would have given Henderson the nod on draft day.

RBs have such a short shelf life, fix that OL first and then go looking for the RB IMO, it seems like there are quality RBs in every draft.

Yep. Quality RBs will be there next year in the Draft, not concerned. They can take one then.

Certainly was all for fixing the offensive line, however when you have the ability to give our young quarterback a field shifting offensive weapon late in the first round of a draft which that player really had no business even being there at that point and was only there because of the talent pool in the draft, that's the direction I would have went. Don't care if the shelf life was only going to be five or six years. That's five or six years of big play ability that opposing defenses have to account for. I think most of us saw that with Treyveon Henderson.

I wouldn't trade a hole in the interior line for a running back with the first pick when you already have two good running backs.
Protect the young QB first then address other needs. I think we will see a running back drafted next year. But I don't favor using a first round pick on one. Especially in KO's system.
