Big year for Jalen Redmond? - StickierBuns - 07-09-2025 https://twitter.com/LGlodek/status/1942726234515070978 Just 26 years old and I do think he's got more upside. Active, built low to the ground and quick for a guy his size. Big time athlete, ranked 4th in that department at the Combine the year he came out. RE: Big year for Jalen Redmond? - MaroonBells - 07-09-2025 I don't know if we struck gold with Redmond, but we struck something. Former 4-star recruit, athletic numbers of a 2nd rounder but went undrafted mostly due to injuries, particularly a blood clot issue that scared teams away. If he's put all that behind him, he can play. He is the ideal young, high-upside depth the DL needs. RE: Big year for Jalen Redmond? - PurplePorsche - 07-09-2025 I was at the Atlanta game last year, and Redmond was the most impactful defensive player on the field that day. He then went to the renegades and did really well. We signed him as basically a player for competition. He won a spot and continued to flash. His college career was really up and down. Clots, opting out during covid, and only starting 8 or 9 games his senior season. In either case he is taking advantage of the opportunity he has now. RE: Big year for Jalen Redmond? - MAD GAINZ - 07-09-2025 Based on the way he played last season, I was surprised we doubled down with Allen and Hargraves. I think it helps the interior of the D-line be more fresh and consistently aggressive all game, which will help Harrison Phillips as well who rarely gets talked about in this board. Redmond is playing for his first big contract so I expect him to play hard and he'll learn from Allen and Hargrave.....which if they stay healthy, this whole interior is going to be really good. I love the depth. I read a rumor that Taimani got even stronger this offseason. I am not counting on BOTH Allen and Hargraves to be 100% healthy all season. Keeping him is a very smart depth move. He was a sleeper last year that caused me to initially go "who's that guy?" That's when I discovered his UFL highlights. I like how he keeps his center of gravity and doesn't overcommit. Sucker is strong. Nobody wants to sit, but those guys have been around long enough to be big picture guys. RE: Big year for Jalen Redmond? - StickierBuns - 07-10-2025 Have a really good feeling about this guy (Redmond). If the exterior of the D-line in the 3-4 can continue to be playmakers like they were in 2024, IMO the D is the most underrated part of the team. There's talent and depth there now unlike there has been for awhile. I think JJ is going to do his part plus. The D is going to be whether the team turns a true corner or not. RE: Big year for Jalen Redmond? - Mattyman - 07-10-2025 Redmond didn't get much b playing time until week 10 ish? When he played, he showed up. I think he can become the next Tom Johnson. |
