I wonder if Carolina would be interested in not using draft capital on a QB and sign Sam Darnold 2.0? Matt Rhule was the HC when Darnold was there a few years ago and he's gone, so.....the new regime might be interested.

Possibly....But the allure of the QB on a rookie contract is a powerful one.
