IMO, Shadeur Sanders is the obvious #1 with Cam Ward close. I think many NFL scouts might have it the other way around, but only from a physical attribute perspective, Ward's accuracy is going to be an issue in the NFL. The rest? Ewww. Why Texas isn't starting Arch Manning full time is a joke. Carson Beck? Wouldn't draft him at all. Jalen Milroe should be a running back. Think Michigan misses JJ McCarthy? I think this class is full of projects beyond Sanders and Ward and that wasn't the belief 3 months ago. NFL GMs have to be majorly gripping if their plan was to take a QB outside of the top 2. Its been brutal watching some of these 'top prospects' perform. Very happy Minnesota snagged their guy.

Watching Coach Prime and Shadeur's agent entourage maneuver to get away from BAD organizations in next year's Draft will be interesting. You think he'll allow Cleveland to draft his son? No f-ing way. And although I dislike the clown show going on in Colorado right now, I don't blame them.
Agreed, this QB class is a bit underwhelming compared to last year's class.

I think the top two seem to have separated themselves, but I like Jalen Milroe as well. Not as a first round pick, but he reminds me of Oklahoma Jalen Hurts. I was high on Hurts coming out in that draft. I thought he was overlooked since most still thought he was just a running playmaking QB, but he developed more as a college passer after leaving Alabama. If a team is patient with Milroe, I think he can be a good NFL QB.

Not a bad comp for Milroe, Hurts. I will say Milroe is even more athletically gifted and has a slightly better arm.

I've really liked Sanders as far back as the beginning of last season. He has modern NFL QB written all over him: athletic, tough and accurate.
Where ever Sanders goes it'll be a circus, hope that team has a strong locker room and culture.

But what are the chances of that for a team that will have a chance to draft him?

Arch needs to be playing in Tx and Carson Beck's regression has been eye opening.

Totally agree with this.  Glad we got JJM in the fold now.  I believe that Sanders will bring his father's attitude, and while he's good, he is not two professional sports good.

Hey Tom......he's pretty good. Look past the stuff that is the clown show at the University of Colorado and see the player. I'm with you on the rest, but he's going to be very good in the NFL.
If JJ was in next year's draft he'd almost assuredly be the top pick overall. Glad to have him in the fold already with a year's head start in learning the playbook and his teammates.

Still enjoying this year's ride, but I am absolutely pumped for the future.
Sometimes the draft doesn’t have quality QBs when you have a desperate need to get one. You need to draft one when they are available, not when you have a need to get one.

In theory, of course. In reality? Teams needs QBs every year.....because the Draft is an inexact science. Bad choices are made every year. Teams draft when 'available' and still that QB can turn out to be a bust. Then you waste 2-3 years and now its an extreme 'need'. And the beat goes on.
Seems to be ebbs and flows for each class. Jayden Daniels was only mid-breakout at this time last year. I agree it might be a bit down but I'm guessing that by draft season 3-4-5 of these guys will be mocking in the top 10. Just how it works. Glad that for once we likely won't be in that sweepstakes.
