Guys - this was probably the most fun I have had in an interview to date, and that is saying something, because they have all been fun for me. We will have this and all interviews available for downloadable podcast within the next 5 days. Invest the time to watch this 2-part, 53 minute interview - you will be left wanting to hear more, I promise!

Great piece.  Really enjoyed it.  Lots of gems in there.

Can't get enough of these things... I could watch footage from the 60s and 70s all day.

Thanks again for doing these and thanks to Mr. Eller for the memories and his passion for the game.

That depends...  Do you see me?...

Another great interview!  As a younger fan who hasn't seen the Vikings in a Super Bowl, it was interesting to hear Eller's thoughts on why they didn't win and what was going through their heads at the time.  It's really too bad that they couldn't close the deal at least once...

I also really enjoyed his thoughts about the PPEs.  The talent level across the defensive line was crazy.  Thanks so much for taking the time to do this interview, Carl.  It was a treat!

2015 Postseason thoughts. (as of 01/26/2016)
QB: Not impressed with the play this year. Hoping for improvement behind a rebuilt offensive line and a consistent game plan.
Hoping to see accuracy improvements on downfield throws and quicker decisions on when and where to throw.

OL: Biggest area of need for improvement on the team. New OL Coach and offseason additions should help.
WR: would prefer to have a bigger body threat to improve on our red zone stats: 51 Att 21 Comp 9TD
Safety: Someone opposite smith? Yes please.

SwA: As long as all chickens have a voice and are respected, the chicken can go anywhere it wants.

Pain, you rock!  :vikesbeer:

Great interview, Tom.  Really appreciate all you do for us.  You seem to bring a calm, honest approach to your interviews, and it shows in the responses you get from your guests.

Carl Eller is such a great Viking icon.  He brought the nasty toughness to the Vikes back in the day.  Such a great player, and a very smart, thoughtful man today.

Go Vikes!
